Do I need Winter Sports Travel Insurance?
'Winter sports' is defined as skiing and snowboarding (with a leash) except in areas designated as unsafe by resort management; recreational racing; mono skiing; guided cross country skiing; snow mobiling; tobogganing and ice skating. If you are intending to take part in any of these activities whilst abroad, you need to make sure you have our 'Winter Sports' cover added to your policy. Remember, even if you are only doing occasional winter sports activities on your holiday, you need winter sports travel insurance if you are to remain fully covered.
What if I need Annual Travel Insurance?
If you are a regular traveller you might like to consider taking out an Annual Multi Trip Insurance Policy. This policy also comes with Comprehensive cover, however it covers you for any trip taken (within the policy duration you choose) within a 12 month period. An annual multi trip travel insurance policy automatically covers you for 21 days ski cover for the 12 month period. This means you can take 3 skiing holidays a year (of a total of 21 days) and do some general travel as well and be covered all year round. This is an ideal choice for those of you that go abroad a few times (or more) a year as you are covered for your winter sports excursions as well as other parts of your holiday!
