Flying High -

possibly the most essential tip for taking any flight, no matter how long, has got to be 'hydrate'. Although it may not seem like it on the flight, you will benefit from this both during and after any period in the air.

Drink plenty of water, not soft drinks or alcohol. Water will keep your head clear and your energy levels up. It will prevent you from dehydrating which can result in you being clogged up after having your intestines swollen from the low air pressure and a belly full of airline food. You need all the water you can get.

Another benefit of drinking plenty of water is that it will keep you getting up to go to the toilet which solves the issue of keeping mobile regularly.

Not only will your tummy feel better but your skin too as the air on the plane is cold and dry and can leave you with tight skin. Moisturiser works too but water on the inside is best.

So, every time that tray of water or orange juice comes by, pick the water, down it and grab another! healthy flying...

(a new tip every month to keep you from going insane on the plane)
