The Backpacker policy is our most popular travel insurance policy for your Big OE
Travel Insurance is available right now with our Backpackers (International) Plan. This Backpackers policy is for the backpacker or traveller who wants basic levels of cover, including cover for their baggage should it get lost or stolen. This policy is provided for travellers under the age of 65 travelling abroad and is most popular with young travellers going overseas on a working holiday.
The travel insurance product is underwritten by Allianz New Zealand Limited and provides peace of mind for the budget traveller, as with all our policies, you are automatically covered for adventure activities, such as bungee jumping, paragliding and white water rafting, not always available with this type of backpacker insurance for no additional premium.
You could travel Worldwide (excluding USA, Hawaii, Canada, South America and Japan) for up to 12 months, with cover for as little as NZ$597.55 (online price only, office prices may differ).
