Backpackers travelling in New Zealand could find that they have the opportunity to share their experiences with millions of people by way of a mobile film studio which is touring the country.
Set up by Tourism New Zealand, the studio is designed to encourage more people to visit the country by letting existing backpackers film a video sharing their experiences. The results will be posted on YouTube and on newzealand.com.
Gregg Anderson, Tourism New Zealand's regional manager UK and Europe, said: "Initial feedback from the touring studio is very positive. Visitors are really enjoying being able to connect to those back home and share their travel tales."
The studio will be moving between 50 different destinations across the country for the next three months.
New Zealand remains a popular destination for backpackers, many of whom head to Queenstown in South Island to try a bungee jump.
