Will the kangaroo had run away from his home in an Australian theme park in the town of Carcassonne before being spotted jumping through cornfields and children's playgrounds.
He was eventually cornered by wildlife authorities who used a tranquilliser dart to capture and sedate him.
Will's owner was said to be on holiday during the rebellious 'roo's adventure.
Earlier this year saw more kangaroo chaos when vandals broke into the same park, releasing 15 of the creatures.
Carole Masson, owner of the nature reserve, said it was "complete panic".
According to WhatsOnWhen.com, Le Parc Australien is divided into five different zones offering visitors the chance to pan for gold, meet a kangaroo or throw a boomerang.
