Emirates and Virgin Blue airlines have teamed-up to launch the Visit Australia pass.
The pass offers connections to a number of destinations popular with backpackers including all major cities, the Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Cairns.
Richard Vaughan, Emirates divisional senior vice president, said: "Due to the sheer size of Australia, many visitors prefer to fly as against drive within the country."
He added that the pass would create much more convenient access to those locations not near a major city.
The pass can be bought by those holding return flights with Emirates to Australia.
Emirates recently introduced a new route to South Africa.
From this October, passengers can travel on non-stop flights to the city of Durban.
