Trips to Karijini National Park in Western Australia could benefit from
online travel insurance which can be bought before people leave home.
According to thewest.com.au, the park is situated two days north of Perth and offers a true wilderness oasis for people keen to experience a side of Australia that's a little less travelled.
Despite Western Australia perhaps lacking the reputation of more easterly regions of the country, Karijini National Park offers a wealth of pools, ferns and gorges that could send a tingle down the spine considering its relative remoteness.
Kym Anderson, a visitor to the park, told the website: "I think people see that it is a national park and they don't realise that there is so much to do here, but it is an oasis in the middle of the red dirt."
The park offers a range of accommodation for all budgets, with luxury tents even offering ensuite bathrooms for those keen to splash out a little. Tourists have the option of buying
worldwide travel insurance.
Backpackers often head towards the Great Barrier Reef when they arrive in Australia.
