Anyone planning to visit a giant golf course soon to open in Western Australia has the option of buying
worldwide travel insurance in preparation for their trip.
Nullarbor Links is the world's biggest golf course, spanning nearly 850 miles across the state and spanning two separate time zones along the way, while a special bus service will be needed to take players from hole to hole.
Due to the sheer size of the course, some unusual sights are to be seen along the way, with one hole in the centre of a sheep station and another in a wheat farm.
Alf Caputo, the man in charge of the project, said: "There's some absolutely amazing scenery out there and before Nullarbor Links there was no magnet to bring people out there to have a look at these beautiful things."
Bus times between holes will be up to two and a half hours and the full course will take up to a week to finish, but it could appeal to backpackers with
online travel insurance.
Western Australia is the biggest of the country's six states.
