Backpackers learning of a company's new rental scheme in New Zealand have the option of buying
online travel insurance.
Travellers Autobarn has announced it will be offering campervans for rent from this month, allowing travellers to explore the country at a small cost.
Company managing director Peter Burke observed that most backpackers visit New Zealand after Australia.
"The big difference is that a large amount of them only do three to six weeks in New Zealand and are spending their savings from working in Australia on seeing it in a campervan," Mr Burke said.
"When you think about it, what better way is there to see New Zealand than in their very own campervan?"
