Online travel insurance is recommended for people looking to take advantage of more cheap flights from Prague courtesy of budget airline Wizz Air.
From mid-February, the airline plans to offer six new flights from the Czech capital city to a variety of European destinations including London Luton.
The additional flights will provide more options for travellers with
backpacker travel insurance who are looking to get around the continent on a budget.
Jozsef Varadi, chief executive officer of Wizz Air, said: "We aim at becoming the leading low cost carrier in the Czech Republic in the coming years as in our other home markets."
Authorities at Prague Airport said that they were happy to offer more budget flights to increase accessibility to the Czech Republic during the global economic downturn.
One-way fares will be as low as £9 with an opening offer designed to promote the additional routes.
Prague is a hugely popular tourist destination in Europe and is a favourite for British stag and hen parties.
