People planning to use an award-nominated backpacker tour operator in Fiji could first buy
gap year travel insurance.
Tour bus operator Feejee Experience recently became a finalist in the 2008 Aon Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards in the Fiji Experience category.
The hop-on, hop-off tour bus operator is associated with the New Zealand-based Kiwi Experience and the company's finalist position was a terrific piece of news for the management team.
Casey Quimby, sales manager at Feejee Experience, said: "We're absolutely thrilled to be included amongst such high quality products and it's a real credit to the excellent service provided by the Feejee Experience team."
Feejee Experience lost out at the awards to Sigatoka River Safaris and Kula Eco Park, but remained the only backpacker-oriented company to become a finalist.
The operator runs a series of tours offering beach trips and the opportunity to take part in a wide range of adventure activities like river tubing and jungle treks. All backpackers could benefit from
cheap travel insurance.
Fiji is a common next port of call for backpackers in Australia and New Zealand.
