Vanessa Fisher, spokesperson for the club, said: "I think the smaller French resorts will be more popular.
"So for example, instead of looking at the valleys where you've got Courchevel, Méribel, La Tania and Les Menuires, people might opt to stay in the cheaper resorts outside."
She advised those considering a winter sports trip to book as soon as possible to take advantage of early discounts.
"Try and book an all inclusive package so you don't get any surprise extras to think about and rather than having an expensive lunch, take a packed lunch - many restaurants have a picnic area," she added.
Her comments follow news some operators, including Crystal Ski, have cut their chalet capacity by 40 per cent after the number of ski holidays taken by Brits fell by 13 per cent to over one million last year.
