People in South Australia who took part in a tourism promotion campaign might have considered buying

AdelaideNow.com.au reports that the South Australia Tourism Commission (SATC) recently conducted a new campaign to encourage more backpackers to visit the region. The promotion - dubbed Stars of South Australia - involved encouraging UK travellers to film a 60-second video about heading to South Australia.
The makers of the winning video were rewarded with a trip to Australia itself. In addition, a film crew has followed them to enable a video diary to be broadcast on a blog.
Neil Saunders, a marketing manager for SATC based in the UK, told the website: "It primarily was aimed at the backpackers and adventure market; in the current economic climate they are a strong market because people will be looking to take a gap year or get away from it."
A recent campaign to find a caretaker for a luxury villa on Hamilton Island made headlines around the world, and Australia remains a popular destination.
Fewer than ten per cent of Australians live in South Australia, and most can be found in Adelaide.
