Backpackers inspired by raft builders in Australia to plan their own projects could first buy

According to thedaily.com.au, dozens of backpackers staying in a hostel on Queensland's Sunshine Coast were inspired to build a raft using no fewer than 80 goon bags - carriers that store cask wine.
American, Canadian and British backpackers joined forces to drink 20 litres of wine every day to provide enough empty bags and the resulting raft ended up in a canal in Mooloolaba heading for the sea.
Phil Saam, an American backpacker, told the website: "Me and a couple of people were sitting around ... we were sitting there drinking and we had the usual conversation about using the bags as pillows, and we started to realise the things would float if you built enough to sit on."
The rafters saw three sharks on the way to the sea and the journey was only ended by a series of encounters with ocean breakers.
