Travellers heading to Sabah in Malaysia could first get hold of

The Malaysian state of Sabah is a popular tourist destination owing to its warm weather and relatively low costs. The local people are welcoming to foreigners and they have a rich culture which goes hand-in-hand with the stunning environment.
Sabah also offers good diving opportunities for water sport enthusiasts and is a great place for amateurs to try out the activity for the first time.
Retired Dutch national Ineke Hertogh lives on Sabah with her partner and told the New Straits Times: "We really enjoy being one with nature, camping, sleeping on our boat out at sea and diving. And Sabah has plenty to offer in that aspect."
With the island offering the stunning Imbak Canyon, the Salt trail and Mount Kinabalu for those who prefer their trips to be land-based, there's also much to interest backpackers and other budget tourists.
