According to the Florida city's Tourism Bureau, Britons are increasingly seeing Orlando as a place for value-for-money holidays as it offers guaranteed sunshine.
Research from the bureau recently found that 57 per cent of Brits who opted to holiday in the UK this year were left feeling short changed by the weather.
Danielle Courtenay, a spokesperson for the agency, said the city was "built on fun and hospitality".
"If people come, they will be treated so well and we know that with the recession, people are looking for good value," she added.
She noted that British holidaymakers are currently the biggest tourism market for the city, as they are attracted by the lack of language differences, sunny skies and family attractions.
