Backpackers planning to hire a vehicle in New Zealand should first buy

Australasian firm Backpacker Campervan & Car Rentals has just opened its first independent rental store in Auckland, in New Zealand's North Island. The company, which is part of Tourism Holdings Limited, was rebranded a year ago and its branch on Auckland's Beach Road is a significant development. The company specialises in providing budget rentals to backpackers.
Sue Sullivan, general manager sales and marketing for the company, said: "The new 83 Beach Road depot is in a perfect location for those wanting to check out the sites around Auckland and then head out of town in a campervan or rental car to explore the rest of New Zealand."
Ms Sullivan added that although the firm specialised in budget rentals, quality was still high and backpackers could expect excellent customer service when choosing a vehicle.
