Contestants on a new reality TV show, who could choose
gap year travel insurance, have already started their New Zealand adventure.
The five intrepid gappers are set to encounter some of the country's most extreme challenges on their four-week adventure.
Model Kimberley, student Anton, upcoming director Emma, male model Chris and show jumper Holly were selected from hundreds of applicants for the project.
Each weekday the contestants will post short videos of their experiences and make updates to The Gap Year website.
Every Friday one of the five will be sent home until one is crowned The Gap Year: Challenge New Zealand winner.
Created by Endemol - the production company behind Big Brother - the show is sponsored by Tourism New Zealand.
