Lovers of fine wine, who could buy
cheap travel insurance, may want to pay a visit to Christchurch, New Zealand, which has won the title of wine capital of the world.
Joining such regions as Bordeaux in France and the USA's Napa Valley, southern New Zealand is now part of the Great Wine Capitals network.
The scheme aims to promote tourism, education and business exchange, developing an international market for locally produced wines.
Commenting on the news Christchurch's bid had been successful, the city's mayor Bob Parker said: "Securing membership of this prestigious global network will help us build on our good reputation, promote our sustainability credentials and attract even more interest in our region."
The wine industry contributes over $1.5 billion (£69 million) to New Zealand's economy and supports more than 16,500 full time equivalent jobs.
