People heading to this year's Stroke and Stride series in New Zealand could benefit from taking out
cheap travel insurance before making the trip.
The competition runs throughout February and March and involves a 500metre to 1,000metre swim followed by a four to five kilometre run.
While competitors may need to take out some health insurance to make sure they are covered should their fitness prove to be not good enough for the course, those who simply want to watch the action should be able to benefit from
cheap travel insurance.
The Stroke and Stride series is now in its 20th season and gives visitors to New Zealand an opportunity to see some of the country's impressive scenery, while enjoying the excitement and thrill of the race.
Anyone is able to enter the races, but with total prize money amounting to NZ$50,000 (£18,000), there will be plenty of top competitors in the field seeking to get onto the winner's podium.
Kicking off on Tuesday February 10th, the event runs every fortnight, comprising four events in all. Held in Auckland, the event is a key attraction in the city's summer programme of outdoor entertainment.
