The French skiing resort of La Tania is believed to be becoming increasingly popular with British holidaymakers,
online travel insurance customers may be interested to hear.
According to the Office de Tourisme de La Tania, British skiers are the biggest market for the area as many have already chosen to settle there.
Arnaud Favet, the office's marketing manager, said there is already a sizeable English community in La Tania.
"Some English locals have been here ten years now and they have pubs, chalets and businesses there," he explained.
As La Tania is on a smaller scale than nearby upmarket resorts - such as Courcheval and Meribel - it gives skiers better value for money, added the tourism expert.
Mr Favet estimated that accommodation in the resort can be around 20 to 30 per cent cheaper than in other areas.
Recently published figures from the Ski Club of Great Britain revealed France remains the biggest draw for UK snowsports fans, taking 43 per cent of the market.
