Young people travelling to Newquay on surfing holidays are being encouraged to take out appropriate
cheap travel insurance before they embark on the trip.
More young people are expected to travel to the Cornish surf destination this spring and summer now that the town's airport has reopened after improvement works.
To celebrate the airport's reopening, Air Southwest is offering passengers flying to Newquay an all-inclusive ticket for £29.
Students who take out appropriate
online travel insurance can benefit from flights from London Gatwick, Manchester, Leeds-Bradford, Glasgow and Newcastle.
The low-cost airline also operates flights to Cornwall from Jersey, Dublin, Cork and Grenoble - offering surfers from Britain, Ireland and France the chance to experience one of Cornwall's surfing hotspots.
Newquay Airport released its draft masterplan last month, which outlines its plans for expansion until 2030.
